This Saturday’s art walk will be a hui of artists consisting of
Maxine Graham with her wild hat art, surf board art, photography, canvas paintings , who knows what else she’ll surprise us with.
Caitlin Ross Odom will be showcasing her gorgeous jewelry made in silver or gold with sunrise shells, beach glass, pearls, and more
Denise Tjarks will be bringing in the latest retro-groovy handbags she’s created out of vintage hawaiiana fabrics as well as a few belts (I’m hoping)
Pancho Graham will be serenading the town – well those who walk by a.ell atelier anyway
We’ll have goodies and drinks and last but not least FIRE DANCERING by the Sweet Spin!
So make it a point this weekend, get out and show you that value your local artisans – see you there……….

In 1983 when we moved to Colorado I took a watercolor class and knew I wanted to be an artist. My Mom died that year, and my Dad gave me her paints and palette and so I worked in oils as well. And then I worked in acrylics, and collage and clay. Any medium works as long as I am experimenting and changing. Composition and color are the most important to me. I painted and sculpted masks and figures for years and am now moving more toward abstraction which I find very challenging. But with four beautiful grandchildren, I am compelled to try and capture their little bodies in some form as well, so I continue drawing the human figure.
